It is a mantra associated with lap-top pretty much since we formed: If you are looking for the fastest computer possible, build a desktop, the only reason to get a laptop when you want mobility more than anything else, laptops are always slower than the corresponding desktop. Although this statement is still largely true, is the difference between top-performing desktop systems and laptop computers with high yields, reduced for many years. NVIDIA SLI is working on mobile solutions, we are approaching the point where the large gap between desktop and laptop computers to get the price.
